Cannot install edward's falklands mod

Hi

 

As the title says, I cannot install the mod, it just crashes the game completely, sometimes the game will not load, then in if it does load and I press instant action game crashes.

 

I cannot open single missions if i try it locks my computer.

 

I do see the falklands campiagn, but the the campiagn wil not load.

 

I followed the instructions in the readem to the letter, but the game does not want to have the mod in stalled.

 

I did a clean install patched it to patch 3.2 . As experiements I just loaded the terrain and that works fine with the stock menus, single mission etc, sky mods install ok, look great by the way, the malvinas terrian mod installs great.

 

but the rest of it, just will not work its a shame, for I am really interseted in this mod and Love to fly harriers.

 

Could some one give me some advice on how to install this mod. I have tried for hours with no joy, thank

All the aircraft is installed, but it still does not work.I am going to have to give this mod as miss as I cannot get it to work at all

Check the following:

 

I assume that you have SFP1 since you need the Desert.cat file abd that you have the Falklands Terrain properly installed

 

1- Do you have the Nations.ini modified?

 

2- Do you have the Weapons Updated ?

 

3- Do you have the groundobjects updated?

 

4- Other files were changed, are they in the correct folder?

In answer to your questions - I do not know- Does ground object need its own folder within the object folder ?

So let me ask you a couple of questions.

 

The instructions says to unzip the files into their respective folders. So all files in the Flight.zip go to the flight folder. You need to be sure that you do not get double nested folders (like Flight/Flight/files)

In the flight.zip there is a Nations.ini file.

 

Same for the Objects.zip file. Now for the ground objects, you have the choice to leave them in the Objects folder or create a GroundObjects folder under Objects and move the files there.

 

Be sure that the Aircraft files go to the Aircraft Folder
