FrankTB Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Would anyone know if something has changed with aircraft sounds post sp4 as I am having problems with aircraft having what sounds like speeded up sound. Never was a problem pre sp4 and have reinstalled patched v05-15-06 to v07-10-06 backed up etc very carefully a couple of times and spend much time checking every thing out with no joy would be very grateful of any advice. cheers Al. Guest capun Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 BTW, which game are you talking? There is a newer patch dated August 06. Most likely it is a DirectX 9.0c issue, you need to install the current Microsoft version, they do updates but keep the 9.0c constant (in their infinite wisdom). Also check your sound card drivers, they may need to be updated Quote
