Guest capun Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 File Name: Mi-24 Hind File Submitter: capun File Submitted: 6 Jan 2006 File Updated: 7 Jan 2006 File Category: Helicopters The SFP1 Dev A-Team (capun, Gramps, Charles, Kesselbrut, The Wrench & Wehner) proudly presents the Mi-24 Hind Gunship Model work and FM by capun, Screens by The Wrench, Virtual Cockpit by Kesselbrut Many thanks to all devs who contributed to this project. Please read the Installation instructions file for a complete list of contributors. Original Model work by Kesselbrut, it uses Tim "Piglet" Conrad's Mi-24v Hind Textures by permission Any texture for the Mi-24v can be used as long as it is formatted for SFP1. Using Paint Shop Pro 7 open the two main texture files and resave them as 24-bit BMP with the Windows and RGB options The helo FM needs to be tweaked a bit, It tends to pitch a bit and go into a porpoising motion. Use the joystick gently, Thrust Vectoring is enable. 01/08/06 Minor update to fix missing UVMapping of the rotors and stabs. Added sound folder. Click here to download this file
+{FL}Hausser Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I have installed tghis into WOV but there seems to be texture maping errors Or am I doing something incorrectly. I followed the readme and installed where it was supposed to go, but every texture I have loads incorrectly. Any ideas on what is causing it? Is it just incompatible with WOv and not SFP1?
Guest capun Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 The Fuselage windows were blacked out since there is no real interior texture. This model was pre mapped when sent to Kesselbrut, so it could be a mapping issue, not sure about it. The chin material is a solid 3DS Max material, it's mapped but no texture map is associated with.
+{FL}Hausser Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 (edited) It's not even the fact of blacked out windows it's the fact the door looks mirored and enlarged. At least I know it is not just me... or so I think. no biggie I suppose I will go ahead with my skin making and if it ever gets remapped it will be good to go. Edited July 17, 2007 by {FL}Hausser
