Billy Pryce Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Hi all, I'm trying to think of the best way of increasing the points that can be accumulated in a mission so that awards and promotions can be granted more quickly without having to run up fantastic air to air scores. The reason is that I'm about half way through building a med campaign for the RAF and while testing it I've run up an already unhistorical score of 45 air victories plus about 60 ground targets. I don't mind the ground kills but having to shoot down dozens of e/a is annoying and not what Im trying to achieve. Despite my claims I'm still only a Flying Officer with a DFC. What I want after 50 plus missions is to have maybe a dozen or so kills and be at least a flight leader with at least a DFC. Anyone have any ideas? I've thought about adding recce waypoints to every mission to increase score and adding even more ground targets. EAF602Whizz Quote
Charlie'Chap' Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) This is only a thought Billy, il2Stab allows a player to set the career advancement difficulty level in the conf.ini file....(ie the number of points required to receive promotion and awards.) This obviously affects Dgen campaigns but may also affect scripted career advancement too. Otherwise Recon objectives (and one for landing, you can tick a 'landing' box and set a time perameter...you prbably already know this anyhow) would seem the remaining option.
