What is DGen? In the mission/scenario download section I've seen a few pacific campaigns for "DGen" and an updates for DGen, but I have no idea what it is. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just couldn't find the answer on my own.

Basically it's the offline (i.e. single player) dynamic campaign generator that's included with the sim. There is also an excellent 3rd party dynamic campaign generator called DCG that Paul Lowengren released. You can find out more about DCG over at Lowengrin.com.

 

I switch between DGen and DCG regularly... depends on what campaign I want to fly.
