It looks French because it is - the rugged, versatile and highly successful Bréguet Br 14 B2.

Coming soon to First Eagles...

One of the things I LOVE about this game, and indeed the whole Strike Fighters series, is the interesting aircraft. Where else can you find a Bréguet Br 14 B2? Thanks Charles, very cool. Looking forward to this bird.

Some interesting facts about the Breguet from the book Silver Wings: A History of the United States Air Force...

  • It was used by 16 US air units and was extremly popular with its crews.
  • It was built entirely of aluminum except for wooden wing ribs, the fairings, and the fabric covering.
  • It had provision to jettison the fuel tank if the plane caught fire in the air, a particularily desireable feature.
  • It continued in production after the war, over 8000 eventually being built.

Interesting plane and read... Thanks A-Team...:good:
