tw7222 Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 THANKS Also I added the pilot skins for VF-31 and it worked fine. I did the same thing for the 'mig 28' topgun pilot in the f-5e and the pilot comes out as a white model only. any idea's? Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 The lod is looking for a BMP that isn't there. Where did you get the MiG28 pilot? Quote
tw7222 Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 here it is... // Crew --------------------------------------------------------- [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName=Mig28mf Position=0.0,1.65,0.84 SeatModelName=seat_f-104 SeatPosition=0.00,1.6,0.33 MinExtentPosition=-0.25, 1.75,0.35 MaxExtentPosition= 0.25, 1.4, 0.91 CanopyNodeName=Canopy The file name is correct and the bmp is there. I just did another marine pilot and it worked. Also thanks for pointing me to wrench's site. You were not lying about that. Thanks for the assist and info so far. Quote
Guest Sony Tuckson Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 open the lod file with an hexadecimal editor (hexedit to name one) use the search (find) function and look for bmp, there, check what comes ahead of .bmp, that will be the file to look for. if this file is present inyour aircraft folder try to open it to check it isn't corrupted Quote
tw7222 Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 Hexedit showed TIGER02.bmp. The file is Mig21mf however. What do I change. The bmp of the pilot opens just fine. Quote
Guest Sony Tuckson Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hexedit showed TIGER02.bmp. The file is Mig21mf however. What do I change. The bmp of the pilot opens just fine. try renaming the bmp as TIGER02.bmp, it should show in game double check you opened the good pilot LOD file with hexeditor Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 If the lod is looking for TIGER02.bmp, then rename the BMP to that or change the lod to look for a different BMP. Quote
tw7222 Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 Thanks for the assist that worked. This is the first time I have worked in the files. Your assistance is much appreciated  Quote
