Hi all,

I bought a copy of EECH yesterday, but I"m having a nasty problem with it.

Whenever I'm flying, only the left side of the HUD shows up, but in reverse. I have a huge colored block with transparant letters. The right side doesn't show up at all, but whenever I get a targeting marker in that area, it does leave certain streaks and spots. Also, my MFD's do show up, but only the left side gets refreshed when I switch to another mode. The right side is still sort of visible when you switch [like a ghost image]

I've attached a picture of my HUD in its current state.

All my other graphics are OK, and I have never had any problems of this kind with other games. I also play Apache Havoc and have never experienced this or other problems.

My system:

Packard Bell laptop computer

Intel Celeron 1.2 ghz processor

256 mb RAM

Windows XP Home

SiS 630/730 graphics card, 16 MB

I contacted tech support, who told me to upgrade my drivers and DirectX, which I did. That didn't work.

I tried all the patches up to 1.4.7. x and even the unofficial w10 patch from EECH devzone [yeah, been talking to some other people as well :D ]

I tried changing resolutions, settings, -notnl and -nrt switches, still doesn't work.

Tech support even suggested unplugging and uninstalling my joystick [uSB Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro Shock] which I tried, but didn't work. Hardly surprising, considering I'm not having any problems with my controls.. it's just the hud and MFD's that's messed up.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated; I'm dying to play this great game!
