Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error

I just installed Flaming Cliffs for Vista Ultimate and patched it to v. 1.12b. When i try to play it for the first time, this error occures:

 

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, Runtime error. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

 

I've tried to use it as an administrator and with xp compatibility mode but i get the same result. Please could someone help me?! The game worked just fine with my XP few weeks ago.
