Issues regarding add-on aircraft shadows in WoI- Requesting help...

Dear All,

 

I've tried adding some of the add-on aircraft for the Thirdwire sims to WoI.. The planes fly and perform ok.. but I'm getting some bizzare visual anomalies... Especially the shadows... and it looks really botched up on the F/A-18F Super Hornet..

 

I'm attaching the screenshots with this post...

 

this issue exists for a few other planes as well...

 

 

Once Again: I'm NOT trying to find fault... I'd just like to know how to use these great mods properly... that's all ...so please don't get me wrong..

WOI uses a new system of generating Shadow Files. You don't need the .SHD file anymore. Take a look at a stock aircraft (such as the A-4H). Look at the MiG-17F.ini and look under the shadow section. Copy that section to any addon aircraft and you should get proper shadows.
