Hey fellas & ladies,

I'm sure some of you have had the unfortunate experience in having these car warranty people or credit card "rate reduction" calls constantly pester with repeated phone calls at all hours of the day. Some of these companies spoof their numbers in order to get around blocking mechanisms. However, when you attempt to ask to have the calls stopped, they hang either hang up on you, or you can never get a hold of a real person to voice your displeasure.

Well it looks like some script kiddies or a very pissed-off person was able to get into the phone system of one of these companies and finally get the numbers. They were so kind as to list this on a some called reddit.com, which was reported by the consumerist.com (part of Consumer Reports). Some enterprising folks were even able to go so far as access and alter voice mails by changing outgoing messages. Just wanted to pass this along for informational purposes
