JRA Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 What do you to in order to get medals (I'm not talking about the Purple Heart)? My record's at 28 kills (22 A2A, 4 ground and 2 buildings) done in I think 21 missions using an F-4E on the hardest difficulty settings (except for the medium HUD Display and Visual Targetting) (and a hard enemy skill level). I keep looking for trouble (which wiped out everyone in the squadron except 2 other guys), but I never get any medal. I once attacked an airfield taking out 2 AA guns in the process and later poped a Mig and 4 Su's (they poped my entire flight). What do you have to do for the medals? And another thing. When attacking an airbase, would it help to pop the planes on the ground or they merely for display purposes? Quote
i fight by 1 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I think it is when you get reach a certain amount of points, because I've gotten the Medal of Honor for blowing up a runway, not engaging and not losing any men...Just a quick in and out. For your second question, depends are they lining up for the runway, then yeah they're about to take off. If they're not doesn't matter I think it gets you more points, getting higher rank and possibly getting medals. I'm not entirely sure. Quote
