Help with creating a F-14 cockpit

Hi,

 

It came to me sudenly that there is no mod that makes the F-14 flyable, so I thought that I might have a go at making one.

 

If anyone has got any tips that they could share, I would really appreciate it

There is a mod that uses the SU-33 FM and pit.

VNAO I think.

It was also modified for the Crimean Wars.

Combined with the english instruments and lights mod to make the instrument panels readable.

 

The problem with the mod is that it uses the SU-33 FM which is gives the F-14 a much better performance than that of the real bird.

Also the wings don't sweep and the pit does not look like an F-14.

I was able to down load it from www.lockonfiles.com.

It's my understanding that they are no longer working on the plane but the VNAO boys are very territorial.

So if you want to pick up where they left off give them a shout and ask them about letting you work on it.

It may be a lot less work to pick up where their work ended so that you don't have to re-invent the wheel.
