Camel damage model problem

The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. That sockleflak IS INTENSE! Despite some evasive manoeuvrings on approach, I did finally have to straighten out to fire my rockets. That's when I got hit, BOTH SIDES. It was a very strange feeling seeing your wings fluttering away from your bus, yet still be under near perfect control. I circled the bag a few times before trying to ram it (my rockets were lost), then found that I could literally fly through the balloon!

 

Now, I know that some weird unexpected things happen with FM's and DM's interactions, so perhaps this is just a rare occurrence that we'll have to live with to enjoy other aspects of the excellent FM, but just thought I'd share in case it can be corrected.
