Bestndagam Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Hi Everyone, I've been a member of this community for some time now, but haven't posted anything on here before. I first off wanted to say thank you to all of the people who put in long hours to make this game better for the average everyday person, like myself. There aren't enough words of gratitude to be bestowed upon you all. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and they are greatly appreciated. I was wondering if anyone else knew (and please forgive me if this has been posted, but I did a search and didn't find anything) that you can put SF2 planes into SF1 series. I'm an avid military buff, my father is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel, and there were some planes that I would have liked to have seen (F-117, B-2, B-1B, this list could go on). Well, low and behold, I was on here a few months back and saw the BONE for SF2. I still am running SF1 and just wondered if I could put the plane on my platform. Well, to sum it all up, you can!! The BONE is an AI plane and I love seeing it on the game. I haven't played with anything to make it flyable as of yet, for I don't know what it would do to the game. Just thought that I would share this little bit of information for anyone who might be interested. Thanks again everyone for all of your fantastic work!! Quote
Cpt.Cosmos Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) I've added the BONE to Strike Fighters Gold, using the pit from an F111 and it works OK. Follow Wrench's guide on how to Make AI Planes Flyable in the KB, and your flying! http://forum.combatace.com/forum/174-adding-aircraft/ Edited October 11, 2009 by Cpt.Cosmos Quote
FastCargo Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 The knowledge base has detailed information on how to make a SF2 aircraft flyable in SFP1/WOx: http://forum.combatace.com/topic/43234-how-to-make-a-sf2-aircraftweapon-useable-in-gen-1-thirdwire-sims/ When possible, try to look in the knowledge base if you can't find something with a search...sometimes the search engine isn't too smart.
