Western Front maps

Whilst cleaning out my attic I came across a set of maps of the western front which were originally supplied by Rowan for their "Flying Corp" gold.

 

I fired up OFF, dug out my old Nav protractor, Dalton computer and dividers and worked out a three way point flight path and then flew it in free flight. I found that distances in OFF were a little shorter than those on the map and OFF has more airfields than those shown on the chart but otherwise very useful and accurate.

 

If anyone still has their copy of "Flying Corp Gold" dig out those charts and give them a try!!
