GTFREAK Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 Ok guys I have been seeing these add-ons requireing you to edit files inside the flightdata.cat file but I dont have a program to open it up. Anyone got any ideas?? I need to get to the ini files inside. Quote
Beer Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 Here's a link to the file extractor. http://www.retrorelics.net/jim/FilesDL/SFP1E_10.exe the file extractor was a utility that check six came up with. http://www.checksix-fr.com/ When you Extract a file from the .CAT general rule of thumb is just put the modified file in the directory that you extracted from, and it should work. In some cases that does not work (such as the Pilot.bmp) that must go in the /objects/aircraft/ directory. If the same directory does not work, then try putting the file in another directory (and making sure there are no typo's from the origional file name). Cheers Beer Quote
