Hello all,

I have been doing a D.VII Skin, of my own design. When I take her for Test FLights to check every thing is where it should be, I see this grey spot on the upper-right corner of the Nose:

What I would like to know is where on the .dds file (opened with Photoshop through DXTbmp) is the paint corresponding to this part.

Thanks very much in advance.

P.S. Only my second Skin. EDITOR: Photoshop, through DXTbmp

It's been a while since I did my 1st D.VII skin... I remeber this same thing gave me fits for a while, too. IIRC, the spot you're looking for is on the side of the picture of the engine, as shown in the attached pic. If it's not there, it's the small square area between the halves of the lower wing under surface. But I'm pretty sure it's on the engine. I seem to recall looking at other OBD skins with various nose colors and noticing that they had the nose color on the side of the engine.

Looks good. Show some more of it.

Thanks very much Bullethead. It was on the side of the engine. Just a few more things to be ironed out and She'll be Ready to Go! good.gif

Show some more of it.

Not until it's finished, then you will get the Full Force of Her Majesticness! grin.gif
