Planejunky Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Can anyone explain why some fuel tanks show up as bombs when you see them in the weapons editor? This is very annoying, so any help would be much appreciated. I apologise if this is covered elsewhere, but I'm too lazy to search through 100's of posts to find it! Quote
FastCargo Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Specify which sim, and which fuel tanks. I suspect I know the answer (it's a pretty simple one) but I need more information. FC Quote

FC Hi FC, these will go into SF2. This is the config file. [WeaponData] ObjectFullName=Hawk 110-gal Drop Tank ObjectDataFile=Hawk100Droptank.INI And the Data.ini file. FastCargo Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Odd, it shouldn't be doing that....all that appears correct. Does it work in the sim properly? And as an aside, you shouldn't need the weps editor in the SF2 series. FC Quote
Planejunky Posted February 1, 2010 Author Posted February 1, 2010 Odd indeed, I dunno what I just did, but they appear fine now as fuel tanks! So the weps editor isn't needed then? So I assume that you can just place the folder into objects/weapons, and the sim just picks it up automatically? Maybe using the editor is what caused the issue. Cheers for taking a look anyway mate, it's much appreciated. Quote
FastCargo Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Yep, no worries. And yes, the SF2 series does not require a weapondata.ini/dat file or using the weapons editor to add third party weapons. It's all drag and drop now...much better! FC Quote
