Frame rate goes to crawl when I adjust the weather

I'm running FC2 on an AMD Turion X2 computer with 4 Gigs of RAm. When I mess with the weather though the simulation goes to crawl. ANy way of getting around this?

Just adding clouds, rain, snow and so forth. When i adjust the seasons it only makes a difference when I fly during winter. Spring and fall oare ok as well as the standard summer.

Yeah the cloud aspect adjustment worked like magic. I still notice a very subtle decrease in the frame rate but nothing that will impede my flying. Without the fix I'd swear I was running on Vista again!Thanks guys, now I can crank up the weather.
