Hi, I used to have my Apache Ah-64 (in a CD) in my same laptop I am using now with (two years ago) WIN 98SE.

I have upgraded to WIN XP Prof 32bit Patch 2 (no way for Patch 3 as it is an intrusive, mining patch that upload to Microsoft!), and can no more use the Apache.

Just thinking it aloud; is it possible (and how, which fixies need to be done) to install my WOE (Oct.2008 Patch/Update) and the Apache (and the latest similar helos sims) in one same laptop using (1) the XP Prof or later when I soon buy new laptop with WIN 7 Professional/Home Edition 32bit or 64 bit?

Or, can I install TWO different OS, namely the XP Pro and the WIN 7 said above for said purpose?

Thanks for ur response.

Regard,

I have 2 different OS (Win XP and Linux) in my desktop PC, and I don't think there is a problem with doing the same in a laptop (depending on the Disk Free Space, of course), though I haven't tried Windows 7 yet. The real problem here is, I think, finding Windows XP drivers for a new Laptop. The other problem is if you want to install both OS you must install the older first (so in a Laptop with Windows 7 installed you should first uninstall it if it's possible, then install WinXP and finally install Windos 7 again)

About Apache not working with WinXP, did you try running it in win 98 mode?
