MiG-23A What if... Readme

 

Carrier based MiG-23, design project 1972, can be realised in 1976

 

MiG-23A was proposed in 1972 for Project 1160 Aircraft Carrier "Orel" {Oryol}

 

Model based on MiG-23M model by TMF, sound by Spiloone 104

 

This plane required MiG-23/27 Weapons Pack. Please install it first.

To Install:

 

- unpack Archive in temporary folder

 

- copy MiG-23A folders to Aicraft folder.

 

- copy Sounds to sound folder

 

- copy 2 test mission to Mission folder (WOV required)

- Radar Sapfir-23ML (1976)

 

- ASP-23ML gunsight

 

- MiG-23A can use R-23,R-13M,R-3S,R-60, Kh-23, Kh-23M missiles, (R-24 not alowed, it required N003,N006,N008 radars)

 

- Max Loadout 2000Kg

 

- R-29-300 Engine

 

- TP-23M Heat seeker

 

MiG-23A features:

 

- new canopy

 

- arrested hook

 

- folded fin under tail replaced by 2 small unfolded fins

 

- refueling probe
