taoistlumberjak Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I've installed the SF2 HMS Victorious, as well as converted the SF1 HMS Ark Royal and HMS Vindictive. For some reason, AI aircraft are landing on the Victorious and Ark Royal as if they're landing on an axial deck carrier. This causes all sorts of trouble, especially on the short deck of the Victorious. I was wondering if there's anything I can change to fix this little issue, or if this is a wider issue. Quote
+Spectre8750 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Hi taoistlumberjak I would take a look at the stock cvn-Carrier. it should have the info on landing as in aim point, angle and so on. i think the models your talking about may be missing them. Quote
taoistlumberjak Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 Thanks for the help. I downloaded one of the add-on carriers, since chopping through cat files was taking too long, and I got the answer I needed. The Ark Royal and Victorious were missing the lines LandDeckAngle and LandingAimPoint under deck. I added those and used the power of MATH to figure out a good aim point. Also, I realized that the Vindictive was set up so that landings were performed at an opposite angle to how the deck was laid out. On a side note, I see now why the Victorious was never going to be a good ship to fly Phantoms off of. Quote
