How to get trackir 4 profiles working with trackir 5

Hi,

 

I have trackir 5 currently using the 2.41 driver version (checked using device manager). I have downloaded a couple of profiles from this forum (Pol's and Creaghorn) which are using trackir 4. I am unable to get my version of trackir (using software version 5.0) to recognise them.

 

I have put them in the correct folder c:\programsx86\naturalpoint\trackir5\profiles, I know this works for trackir 5 profiles as I have 2 that Olham kindly let me use from his setup and they work without any problems.

 

Could someone please advise how I can adjust these profiles so that they will work with trackir5.

Your best bet is to rework a profile from scratch. TIR4 profiles don't translate over to TIR5.

In the new TR5 software, I have just been using the RoF profile...spot on..it works for tr3,4 and 5
