Custom medels help

Hello, noobie to the combatace forums on deck.

 

I've been in the process of making a custom medalpack for SFP1, but have been running into some bugs. For whatever reason, when I add the medal files, the game keeps crashing before the debrief. I think it has something to do w/ the AwardScreen.srt file, because whenever I use a non-edited version of it, the game works fine. Could someone explain to me the role of the medal-related .srt files, and how to properly edit them? I've pretty much figured out all what all the other files are.

 

I'll admit, I've been going on on blind luck for the most part, and have probably missed something elementary. A decent medal-adding tutorial would help too.
