Bouncing helicopters on landing pads

Hello fellow simmers,

 

For the third time in my life, I have purchased Apache Havoc and Comanche Hokum, this time at GOG.com as a digital download and managed to install them both so all Mi-28 gauges work properly. I believe I still have the original box somewhere on the attic at my grand's place.

Went over to EECH central and installed everything according to the steps in the.

 

Installation procedure

If you have the EEAH CD as well, please follow these instructions first.

 

1. install EECH (from the CD or download installer)
2. download and install 1.14.0 Package
3. download and install 1.14.1 fix
4. download and install Maps
5. download and install Terrain
6. download and install Smoke and effects
7. launch the game

I cannot seem to get the ground textures like featured in this post on the Desert Storm (Kuwait). http://combatace.com/topic/31371-screenshot-of-the-day-eech/

 

Is there anything relevant I should change in the EECH.ini file ?

Are there still people playing this sim online ?
