View File Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe (English: "Swallow") of Nazi Germany was the world's first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft.Design work started before World War II began, but engine problems and top-level interference prevented the aircraft from attaining operational status with the Luftwaffe until mid-1944. Compared with Allied fighters of its day, including the British jet-powered Gloster Meteor, it was much faster and better armed. One of the most advanced aviation designs in operational use during World War II,the Me 262 was used in a variety of roles, including light bomber, reconnaissance and even experimental night fighter versions. Credits: Veltro2K for the aircraft Coupi for skins and decals Kesselbrut for the cockpit ??? for destroyed model; from 1stGen WW2 Terrains ??? for the jumo wav; renamed for one by Spillone? Ravenclaw? somebody I disremember (for a 1950 jet) Wrench, for some decals, some ini work, screens, and general "what do I do with this?" testing and such like. View File Short Stirling MK1 Short Stirling MK1 The Short Stirling was the first four-engined British heavy bomber of the Second World War. The Stirling was designed and built by Short Brothers to an Air Ministry specification from 1936, and entered service in 1941. The Stirling had a relatively brief operational career as a bomber, being relegated to second line duties from 1943 onwards when other four-engined RAF bombers, specifically the Handley Page Halifax and Avro Lancaster, took over its role, but fulfilled a major role as a glider tug and resupply aircraft during the allied invasion of Europe in 1944-1945. 3D Model (Veltro2k) Textures and FM (Charles) Cockpit (Kesselbrut) Bombsight mod by MoonJumper. View File Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero SM.79 Sparviero The Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero (Italian for "Sparrowhawk") was a three-engined Italian medium bomber with a wood-and-metal structure. Originally designed as a fast passenger aircraft, this low-wing monoplane, in the years 1937–39, set 26 world records that qualified it for some time as the fastest medium bomber in the world. It first saw action during the Spanish Civil War and flew on all fronts in which Italy was involved during World War II. It became famous and achieved many successes as a torpedo bomber in the Mediterranean theater. The SM.79 was an outstanding aircraft and was certainly the best-known Italian aeroplane of World War II.[2] It was easily recognizable due to its distinctive fuselage dorsal "hump", and was well liked by its crews who nicknamed it Gobbo Maledetto ("damned hunchback"). It was the most widely produced Italian bomber of World War II, with some 1,300 built, remaining in Italian service until 1952. 3D Model (Veltro2k) Textures and FM (Charles) Slow/Fast Prop textures by Russo Cockpit (Kesselbrut) unzip ad folders to their appropiate places...have fun * Requires weapons pack up to date THIS MODEL IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE AND IN NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL IT BE USED, EVEN IN PART OF ANYTHING THAT IS PAYWARE.
