Thank you, Mr Wrench ! is there any specific mod pack that contains infantry ? last year i had set up a ground battle in the Ukraine map with mission editor with tanks /APC s Russain vs Ukraine ground forces mod +some CAS thrown in under overcast conditions was surprised that(the battle ) looked quite realistic (for a lite flight sim focused on aircraft ) but of course there was no infantry in the UKRAINE ground forces mod(tanks/APC ) missions types like COIN/ or maps like Afghanistan are weak without any infantry

is there any mod that can place infantry that can move (even at a basic level ) using way points in any map using mission editor

in multi aircraft bvr fights , i get shot down quickly the AI seem to concentrate all missiles on player aircraft so need to eject

One of the things that makes any vehicle sim great is a cinematic replay option present in sims like il2/flaming cliffs/ms sims like fs9/fsx and of course in most racing games (sad that EA stopped having this option after shift 2 )) is there any possibility of such a mod in sf2 ? (it would make the game fantastic given the number of mods available )

The sf2 red edition mod probably has one , according to the Youtube trailer mod is huge as i am a free user, i have not gone for the big download as of now

j f 17 mod cockpit is the closest in my opinion Chinese jets seem to have similar cockpits but as i have said after merging the result is a disaster my modding skills at present not adequate to correct will try other cockpits when i get time.... but J 10 remains a lethal AI opponent with those pl 15 arh missiles so j 10 model is also of value as an AI opponent

Never mind the cockpit !... is it possible to switch FM files of aircraft in sf2 i mean , say make the f15e fly like f15a/c ? (some of the modded jets like f16c /su 35 are way overpowered , you can keep on turning in normal flight mode without losing airspeed)

Thank you , will try my modding skills at present in sf2 are very basic managed to increase the radar track range for the Rafale mod recently (track range was wrong , now 100+km it is possible to use meteor missile properly ) F15e FM has to be modified i believe , the f15e feels very HEAVY , F15EX handling should be closer to f15C ), but radar is okay in F15E. ( a pity the F15CX was not pursued , it would have given anything not true 5th gen a run for its money )

Thank you that makes sense , the su27b in my scenario only had SARH r 27 The Chinese pl 15 ARH is almost impossible to evade , even with the F 22 !!, Mr Wrench confirmed that ARH missiles cannot be detected by the RWRS in SF2 IT IS A NASTY MISSILE , very fast (the PAKISTANIS claim 3 Rafales were downed using pl 15 in recent clashes over the Indian Pakistan border, denied by IAF , the truth is unlikely to come out soon ) the outgunned IAF now is trying to outfit the meteor missile in all of its fighters, also considering the su 57 . The thing is without stealth on both sides , dogfights really are a thing of the past it seems )

YES , i vaguely recall one forum post on this topic I did a f22(mod ) vs su 27b and f15a vs su 27b in the mission editor both starting off at around 60 km from each other 3-4 times the f22 did much better recently managed to modify the radar strength of Rafale to my liking the Rafale mod has a fantastic 3d model , but the AESA radar was far too weak (60 km track range versus 150+km in real life ) also it seems to be bit overpowered , same with the SU 35 .

In any case stealth does not aircraft invisible recently a Indian navy Tupolev Tu 142( a variant of the legendary TU 95 bear ) has been set up in an open air park in my city (Calcutta India ) photos not allowed inside but will try to post some photos taken outside

Does sf2 model stealth to any degree ? from my experience setting up the f117 , f22 , f 35 mods in mission editor it does seem to work against weaker radars , but not at all against stronger ones or i may be mistaken ...
