Anyone got any knowledge of info about how to convert aircraft from other formats into Flaming Cliffs2 formats? I have a plane I'm developing for xplane and I would like to bring it into lock on. I haven't found any info on this.

I need help. I recently installed a mod of a SU-47 flyable aircraft on Lock On FC1.1. Well when I did the mod killed my all flyable aircraft mod and even after a reinstall and complete file/folder delete, the mod appears after reinstallation. Modman refuses to uninstall it. I've tried twice and used up two activations. Any help would be appreciated and please don't chide me for not making backups or not knowing how to install mods. I made backups and the problem still presists. I've been doing it for a while now but this is the first time I have ever encountered a mod that acts like this.

Thanks for all the help rattler. I still have the problem but I also have a list of the multitude of files that were installed with the mod. I am thinking that maybe its a modman thing and uninstalling it might help we'll see. Thanks again. Jack

I noticed that in the training downloads that there were no TG training vids. There were on FC1. Those really taught me how to fly. Shame they havent posted them yet as the vids downloaded are way better than the old ones where you had to restart the game every time you wanted to view one.

I'm running FC2 on an AMD Turion X2 computer with 4 Gigs of RAm. When I mess with the weather though the simulation goes to crawl. ANy way of getting around this?

Yeah the cloud aspect adjustment worked like magic. I still notice a very subtle decrease in the frame rate but nothing that will impede my flying. Without the fix I'd swear I was running on Vista again!Thanks guys, now I can crank up the weather.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use bombs and ground rockets in the f-15. I was trying to do a bombing run in an F-4 Phantom modded with the allflyable aircraft mod (which utilizes the f-15 cockpit.) All I could come up with was air to air modes. What if anything am I missing or could someone tell me where this information is located? I'm flying Flaming Cliffs 2 by the way.

I posted the question on another forum and was told that it didn't work. If there were a way to switch out the pit to the A-10 then that would work fine as long as I could keep the F-4 performance and not have to put up with the A-10 crappy speed. Might not be possible though.

Just adding clouds, rain, snow and so forth. When i adjust the seasons it only makes a difference when I fly during winter. Spring and fall oare ok as well as the standard summer.

Hello everyone. I currently run DCS Black Shark and LOMAC on Windows 7 x64. I have heard that there are some compatability issues with Flaming Cliffs 1.1 running on windows 7. I'd like to purchase the upgrade but not if It won't work. Anyone have any info in this?

I need help in turning my recorded flights into FLV files that I can post on youtube. I tried using Camtasia 6 to record the screen but it's slow and messed up. Anyone who knows how to do this please let me know the easiest way to get a good recording that I can post. thanks

Thanks for the reply JediMaster. A few of my friends confirmed my fears as it appears Flaming Cliffs 1.1/Starforce does not work with windows 7 regardless of what updates are available. I am learning that most hardcore gamers detest Starforce for that and a variety of other reasons. I personally haven't noticed any problems with my installation of Black shark but I run a pretty beefed up system. 'm looking forward to Flaming Clifffs 2 for sure.
