  3. View File Spitfire MkVb (clip wing) "401 (Canadian) Squadron" Spitfire MkVb (clip wing) skin by Bo_Nidle. This MkVb flew with 401 Sqn RAF from Biggin Hill during 1943.It was flown by Flying Officer Jack Sheppard. Any noseart on an RAF aircraft is a rarity so being a big noseart enthusiast I jumped at the chance to do this one! I don't know much about the pilot unfortunately but I hope it pays tribute in a small way to our Canadian cousins. Enjoy, Bo_Nidle Submitter aussie jimm Submitted 04/11/2005 Category Spitfire Skins
  4. View File P47 367thFg "Philbert V" P47 skin by Bo_Nidle. This P47 was flown by Major C.F.Matheson as part of the 367thFg of the 9th Air Force. He scored 2 aerial victories in this aircraft. It is depicted as it appeared in the Spring of 1945 flying out of Furth in Germany. It was attached to the 394th fighter squadron and I have included a coded blank skin to make up flight numbers in the mission builders. It uses Avirexs bare metal template. 5. View File Hurricane IIb "601 Squadron" Hurricane MkIIb skin by Bo_Nidle. I painted this Hurricane in the standard grey and green scheme to use it in the FMB on cross channel "Rhubarbs".As a 601 Sqn aircraft it should have had a blue band on the spinner but all my attempts to replicate this resulted in a smudged mess so I left it sky colour.I have included a coded blank skin for flight numbers.
