I am running OFF with the Hat in the Ring addon at Phase 3 V1.47. I am able to run the game fine in stand alone mode, but when I try to launch the multiplayer mode, I get an error message that Combat Flight Simulator 3 has stopped working, and then I get an "OFFManager Run-Time Error '53'" message box, and I return to the main menu. it is possible to run the standalone version fine at that point. I was following the directions for starting a multiplayer game posted in this forum. I did install the Essential MP File Installer, but I'm not sure if that is related. Thanks for any ideas.

Thanks so much for the detailed response. I did try the dll replacement, and managed to get a different error message. After that seemed to not work, I tried running the executables under Admin and with XP SP3 compatibility, but still had the new error and hard freeze. The new error occurres when loading CFS3: "An error has occurred initiating CFS3 - Make sure your CFS CD is in your drive. Patch DLL Error:VirtualProtectEx(.rdata)failed. error 0x00000005=5" I am going to do some research on this new error to see if anything is different. Thanks again!

I am running Windows 7 64bit. That might be significant, but other parts of the game seemed to run OK. On the other hand, I noticed that the Quick Scenarios choice gave me the same error at the same time. While I am able to run a quick combat after this crash, I can't get either multiplayer or quick scenario to work even after restarting the game. Thanks for the replies!
