I have harriers and helicopters (and F-35B), and ive looked around for this, but how can i map (on keyboard) thrust vectoring commands, atleast for VTOL aircraft?

i adjusted the detail levels in Graphics, fine now.

not a big deal, thought it would be neat to have the speed and the altitude. Can do the altitude, just not the Mach 3+

oh, well disregard then, thought i was going pretty slow (relatively speaking, that is still slow, but i guess Mach 3 isnt achievable in SF1)

been flying Blackbird missions, going up to 80,000ft but speed hovers around 350kts. I've never messed with performance before, so is there a way i can adjust to where it flies above atleast 1000-1200kts?

I got the Oct2008 patch for SFP1 and everything works great, but skins are now all blurry. Is it because of the patch or did something not load right?

got one SF2 airliner converted and working smoothly, a TU-114 "Cleat". Only issue im having is the skin is all blurry. DC-8 and DC-10 still don't work, but i've deleted them from the game for now, need a break from all that. going back to the TU-114, how can i make the skin clearer? a few other planes are like this too, idk if it's because of the patch or something with the skins themselves.

Sorry for this sort of mini-rant. I was tired and getting fed up with always getting error messages or crashed. uninstalled/reinstalled SFP1, starting over clean.

Re-installed SFP1, installed updates, worked fine. New Weapons included in update, also worked fine. Learned how to convert SF2 to Sf1 aircraft, before I re-installed, they worked fine. Now for some reason nothing works, not even default aircraft, i can't even get to the main menu before it locks up anc crashes. I'm losing my mind, everything worked perfectly and now all of a sudden, i can't do anything. I don't know what to do anymore, i don't know where to even begin to search for the problem, let alone try to fix it. I'm sorry if i sound whiny, but i'm losing my patience with everything. Even after having help from people on here, and I thank everyone for that, nothing seems to work or I can't get them too.

Ok, got Oct2008 patch (loving the new weapons, going to have fun with the guided munitions), got DaddyAirplanes's DC-8 and DC-10 (rebooted my laptop, lost all aircraft). Converted files to ANSI, converted skins to BMP, decals in decals, etc. everything is in right place and converted, still crashes game. same with DC-10.

unless i reboot my laptop, idk where i could copy d3dx9_31.dll from, everyone else in my house as Windows 10.

yes, i tried, but it says DirectX9 has already been installed but i still get the same error message and the game crashes

what is DX9? dont have to completely re-install the game do i?

I got the latest SFP1 patch (oct2008) so I can make some SF2 planes work (some already work when the game was unpatched, but not getting into all that), but now whenever I try to fly, the game crashes and I get an error message. I keep getting a prompt saying "d3dx9_31.dll is missing" and I have no idea what that means.

jpg are bmp now. unless i passed over it, i couldnt find GermanyCE in the Terrain Downloads (not defaulted on my sim)

alright, making some progress here. Unicodes have been converted to ANSI, DC-10 is in the game, but game crashes when i try to fly. Did the same for another plane (TU-114). the Cleat works, doesnt cause game to crash and it flies, but the skin does not appear. Also, is there a way to alter aircraft speed? the TU-114 barely goes above 120kts and TU-95/114 went well above that.

it wont even appear in the game. ive already got a 757 and 747.

ok, found your DC-10-30, what specifically do i have to change for it to work?
