P51-D of the 1st Fighter Squadron, 2nd Air Commando Group 10th U.S. Army Air Force Kalaikunda, India, 1945 , ive decide to make this p51 weathered (dirty) & also non-weathered (factory fresh) so theres four different skins in the download.1: weathered with markings ,2: weathered without markings ,3: non-weathered with markings ,4: non-weathered without markings. metalwork by I16fan , camo , weathering etc by me . This MkVb flew with 401 Sqn RAF from Biggin Hill
during 1943.It was flown by Flying Officer Jack Sheppard.
 
Any noseart on an RAF aircraft is a rarity so being a big
noseart enthusiast I jumped at the chance to do this one!
 
I don't know much about the pilot unfortunately but I hope
it pays tribute in a small way to our Canadian cousins.

SPIFIRE VIII ,This actual spitfire was a Mk.Vc so seeing we dont have that ive put it on a VIII. BR301 flown by Flight Sargent George Beurling of No. 249 Sqn from Malta on 27 July 1942 and it's paint scheme was Light and Dark Mediterranean Blue and a bright red spinner. "Buzz" scored 4 kills in this aircraft on this day. Weathered and Bright finished. Theres also a no markings version avaliable in the download.

SPITFIRE MK.VIII, No: RG-V (A58-602) Sqn: 457 Sqn, RAAF , Wing Cdr.RH (Bobby) Gibbes. DSO, ( 10¼ KILLS). Morodal, April 1945. Weathered & Bright converted. Theres also a no markings version in the download.

Carols Daddy was a P51 of the 1st Air Commando Group/10th US Army Air Force stationed in Burma in 1944. s/n ( 36113 ) also it had an individual number 18 on it as well. This p51 was actually a "A" version but seeing theres no P51a ive put it on the p51b. :)
