Would like to know if anyone out there can tell me what rudders would work with the Cougar Hotas. I'm replacing my old Thrustmaster RCS. Maby something that would be direct fit.

Thanks

If you just need a new pot or spring for your TM RCS, that shouldn't be too much of an issue...

...but if you really wanna get some new pedals, then the SimPeds would be the first choice: 3-axes, i.e. rudder plus toe-brakes, and a game-port to be plugged into your HOTAS Cougar - nothing beats the SimPeds WRT fine-control, though ordering them can be a pain since Peter Hofmann doesn't speak English (his friend Peter Madel is actively monitoring Cougar World, though, and usually helps out as good as he can).

If you don't mind a bit of soldering you might fancy the idea of getting CH Products' Pro Throttle: it's USB but there's a detailed explanation available on Cougar World on how to add a game-port so that you can switch it. The Pro Pedals feature 3 axes, too. They're much smaller than TM's RCS and the pedals move in a straight line; you can lock the rudder-movement and then use the toe-brakes for racing-sims, if you like.

Well, I had a link bookmarked but haven't restored my system after the last recovery yet, so I can't find it now, sorry. But you should get an answer if you'd just ask over on Frugal's World, either in the Cougar World section or under joysticks/HOTAS.
