NefariousKoel Posted February 7, 2003 Author Posted February 7, 2003 Yeah, it was a huge furball before then. All my winders were gone - and no hits to show for it. I think I've only had two good kills with unfathomable amounts of AIM-9s fired. Good launch parameters and all. Anyway, back to the story. I had downed two MiGs with my guns and another with a Sparrow. I was shooting piss poor with my vulcan that day I guess. Short bursts that just weren't doing the trick. I was loaded with Mk82s and my flight got bounced halfway to the IP. Before that I had managed to get through and drop ( good kill ) and had to go defensive with the MiG's buzzing around like flies on s**t. Probably the most exciting strike mission I'd flown just for all the bandits. They launched AA-2s on me twice and I made it through the mission unscathed. Good times, good times. Quote
