Newbie to WoV

Hello everyone i been flying IL-2 FB/PF for the last two years.

 

I finally purchase Wings over Vietnam...it looks like alot of fun. :)

 

Some of the hardware I have are Saitek X-45, TrackIR, and CH Pro pedals.

 

Question I have for you guys, I hope you can help me out...is there any keyboard commands laid-outs that can be print out, and any X-45 game Profile out there that can be downloaded?

 

Also does WoV support TrackIR3 I hope?

Go here for my keyboard command layout (it is for SFP1 but the two are identical except for one key: to break radar lock in SFP1, it is <SHIFT><DELETE>, for WOV it is <DELETE>):

You have two options, a smaller one page printout or a larger 2-page printout.

 

I have an X-45 profile, but I have never bothered to post it. It is very much specialized to suit my needs and is largely based on the same profile I use for most jet sims. I can post it if you want.

X-45 profile if you can Streak but don't go out of way...I can set-up one myself once I get use to this sim and it's commands.

 

I just flew a quick dogfight and indeed TrackIR works just great!!

If you go back to my keyboard layout page, I have updated it to include my Saitek X-45 profile and a PDF of the stick mapping in it. Go here:

If you open the profile for editing, you will note that every key command from the game is already available in the dropdown list for mapping. So even if you don't like my profile, you can quickly and easily edit it to what you like.

I just got a TrackIR 2 for testing it and wonder if there's a way to get it working with WoV in the Enhanced Mode? The Mouse Emulation works, but not the Enhanced Mode.

Enhanced mode should work with TrackIR 2. I have TrackIR 3 Pro and it works great, but I know others who have TrackIR 2 and have enhanced mode. Have you downloaded the latest software for it?

I've downloaded and installed v3.13. When I set it to Enhanced Mode and I enter WoV I try to set it up as camera control input, nothing happens when I turn my head. Is there any other toggle I need to set in WoV?

I wondered if it worked at all and tried it in Pacific Fighters. Worked immediately. When I tried again in Wov it worked as well, though a little bit erratic at times. No idea what's wrong in my first attempts...

In SFP1 and WOV, you shouldn't have to do anything... when you start the game, it detects track ir and uses it. Perhaps you tried to "set something" and broke it :)
