While you're on a helicopter theme, would there be a lot of work involved in upgrading your AH-1G to a modern AH-1S standard? Maybe you could just graft the front of the AH-1W onto the G model (I'm no expert)?

 

Anyway, the S would be useful for the Israelis, Turks, Pakistanis and for a cold war US Army too.

 

Just a thought.
