Heck Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I understand the new format for groundobjects but I don't know where to put the other files such as the .lod and the .ini files. All the files; LOD, BMP, INI, etc, can simply go into a folder named the same as the .ini file of the object, ex: PZKW-IVg for a Panzer IVg. You don't need a sub folder for textures, unless you have more than one texture, such as a winter scheme for your Panzer IV. Just make sure this main folder you create has all the necessary bitmaps specified by the LOD file. For example, US soldiers uses US Soldier.bmp, Squad destroyed.bmp, and weapons.bmp. If you don't have all three, it won't work. Here's the folder and file structure for the aforementioned PZ-IVG: Main folder: PZKW IVG Inside it, the following files: PZKW IVG.ini PZKW IVG_data.ini PZKW IVG.LOD PZKW IVG.bmp PZKW IVGTrack.bmp It works just fine with no texture sub folder. Hope this helps.
