I could use some help. I would to use the A-26C model in WOV as a replacement for the B-26K which was used in Viertnam. The trouble is the the top speed is well below that of the real aircraft and renders you very vulnerable. Any help as to how I can increase speed? Any help is much appreciated.

Performance parameters for any aircraft are set in the aircraft's 'data.ini' file. Scroll down to [FlightControl].

How do you know it is well below the real aircraft? Are you just reading the speed in the display box? That is IAS. That is Indicated Air Speed which is not the same as TAS, True Air Speed.

Simplistically, IAS is the same as TAS at Sea Level. The B-26K is at best about 25 MPH faster than the A-26B, the engines were more powerful. but the plane gained weight, including the strengtening of the wing spars.
