Revvin Posted October 7, 2006 Author Posted October 7, 2006 You could set it up to mimic any cockpit you want. Michael posted a little more on the capabilites of the MFP at the CH Hangar: Standard CH MFP has 25 physical buttons. The MFP has a Green Mode and a Red Mode which can be selected on the fly with the two buttons and their associated colored LEDs in the top right corner of the unit. These modes are available as STANDARD. Meaning no need to implement modes in your Control Manager. Now you have 50 button positions. Now lets assign "shifted" functions to each of the buttons in both Red and Green mode. Now you have 100 button positions. BUT WAIT THAT"S NOT ENOUGH! Lets then turn on the CMS mode control in the Control Manager so we have FOUR Control Manager modes EACH with a Green mode and a Red mode that are both programmed with "shifted" functions. Now you have 400 button positions. Not enough you say.... well fine. Extended CH MFP has 50 physical buttons. Time to bust out that slide ruler... double the numbers of the Standard MFP at each bump. Soooo..... Green and Red modes gives you 100. "Shifted" functions in Green and Red mode gives you 200. Then with the Control Manager CMS modes you have hit 400 button positions. Now I know what you are think'n.... "Michael that's "cool" but it's not "kEwL". So what if I were to tell you you could then addon to your CH MFP with MORE MFP's. In fact what if I told you you could do all of the above on a 50 button MFP on SIXTEEN MFPs and have all of them connected and running giving you 12,800 button positions! The CH MFP is no different than any other CH USB controller in the Control Manager. If you can do it to a button on a Combatstick then you can do it to a button on the MFP. So what does that mean? Well let me give you a quick hit list..... Joystick Buttons Joystick Axis Mouse Buttons Mouse Axis Keyboard Keys Keyboard Macros Combinations of ANY of the above Want to move your mouse to a certain location with one press of a button? No Problem :) Want to add a single count to an axis in one direction or another? No Problem :) Want to press a button just once and have It navigate through your Comm Commands for you? No Problem :) Quote
