csb Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I downloaded the MI-24 this year and the sound file that comes with it doesn't match the caliber of this chopper (in real-life nor for this computer model) This may be due to a download glitch or my pc, but the sound was toyish - like a tin wind-up toy. I opened the chopper's sound file with WinXP Sound Recorder and used effects option to slow the sound down and now it's alot beefier. If you try this, just one click is enough. I have used Sound Recorder for many sounds in SF and even added echo to the afterburners - really helps the roar. I found this tip in the pdf with the weapons packs - thanks Bunyap! Apologies to Capun, Kesselbrut & Co, this is not meant as a diss to your work. Very impressive to have the Hind in the MidEast campaign. Oh, and get yourselves some decent speakers with a bass box! You won't regret it. Quote
Guest capun Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 NP I would suggest to post the sound file for everyone to share We just can't do everything, we need an Aaron Swindle in SPF1. Quote
csb Posted October 10, 2006 Author Posted October 10, 2006 Good idea Capun Has been uploaded, so should be in sounds section soon. (Googled Aaron Swindle) Quote
