Mur Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Hi, it's Mur. I have a question to all of you who love flying with Tomcat in WoV. I set to HARD my game. With these settings I can land almost every aircraft BUT the Tomcat: in particular, I am able to reach the airfield, but when my Tomcat touchs the ground it begins to bounce and has to do that four-five times before I can open the brakes of the wheels. My usual vertical speed (indicated by the climb) is comprised between 10 and 20 feet per second, and the maximum true ground speed is 150 knots. So, what am I wrong? Accepting every sugestion, bye! ezlead Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Mur: Check the settings on your maingear struts. Shockstroke ,Springfactor,Damping factor. You can find these in the aircraft data.ini file. Scroll down to Landing gear. Compare settings to aircraft of same type. Adjust accordingly. There is a section in SFP1/WOV Editing Notes on that subject. Good Luck Quote
Prince_VLAD Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Check the SPRING value in data ini, in the GEAR section, for every gear subsection .A value of 2.0 should settle things down;).Good luck Quote
