Guest MrMudd Posted March 14, 2003 Posted March 14, 2003 Just Curious, Who in here would atempt an O/A-10A? Or any other Modern Fighters? Quote
*Fast Eagle* Posted March 14, 2003 Posted March 14, 2003 I've been trying but to be 100% honest, I got no clue as to what really needs to be done, or should I say how to do it properly. I have all the data I need and 3ds max 5.0, but no clue...lol I'd be glad to give anyone what I have done so far. I have the fuselage done, 1 wing is done and I haven't even attempted the flaps and the like. I have no cockpit, or coefficients, just a fuselage and 1 wing. The left one to be exact. Lol Quote
Guest Ranger332 Posted March 14, 2003 Posted March 14, 2003 someone is working on one I just dont remember who,or how far they are right now Quote
Guest MrMudd Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 Sorry Ranger that is the OV-10a Bronco... O/A-10A is the A10 ThunderBolt II. Observation-Attack The A10 Crews have Taken Over the OLD TASS FAC(A) mission when the Broncos were Retired. Most Aircrews can do FAC. But this is the HAWGS nomenclature. Quote
Guest Ranger332 Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 I know realized it was posted in the wrong slot Quote
Guest MrMudd Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 LOL it happens, I miss my old 27th TASS Cricket Quote
+Tiwaz Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 Already being worked on Unless my ignorance is showing through and there is a visual difference beween the A-10 and the O/A-10 Quote
Guest MrMudd Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 No DIffernece only the Missions performed.... The Observation Monecur is just attached to the aircraft by mission Essentially the role of observing enemy territory, Terrain and enemies scheme of manuever then conducting"Forward Air Controller (Airborne) for Strike aircraft and supporting fire support guidance. 0-1,0-2, OV-10 ETC these were all Observation Fac Aircraft. None of these are in service today. Those primary CAS missions are now performed by the O/A-10 Thunderbolt community. Quote

+Tiwaz Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 Nope the pilots randomly turn their heads in all aircraft, to witness this hit f6 and watch your crew( I recomend using the wing leveler or autopilot though) Quote
