rattler1 0 Posted November 24, 2006 I have been looking for a while for Voice Recognition software that was easy to use, make my own profiles and had good support. I looked at Voice Buddy 3 and several others, then I stumbled on VAC, at www.dwvac.com. Was very impressed with what was offered , especially the price. It does a great job and really gets you into the game. I just thought since I did some leg work , I would share what I found and I think anyone who tries VAC as I have will be pleasently supprised. I must say it is mostly for SP but it does other things as well. Just my 2 cents worth if anyone is looking for software of this kind, you should look at VAC. There are lots out there , this just helps narrow the field. Cheers.

rattler1 0 Posted November 24, 2006 1st post & you're promoting a software package? We'll be watching ... [/quote This is not my first post and I am not promoting Software. I was searching for a voice rec. program, looked at a few and found this one which I thought simmers might like. This is my opinion only NOTa promo. If it sounded like that then I apoligize and will try to express myself better. I don't mind you watching because all I post is things related to sims, participate in forum discussions and try to help my fellow simmers out. That was the reason for that post. I put it in general flight sim discussions as I thought that it was the right place to mention it. Sorry if it appeared as though I was pushing software, that is and will never be my intent in any forum. I see something that simmers might like and I try to pass on MY observations only. Is it wrong to pass info on software, hardware or anything else that simmers may be interested in. I am just a simmer trying to help other simmers. It is quite possible I could have used better words to get my point across, did not mean to break any rules. I don't know why it only shows one post as I have posted here several times since I joined. No matter, if I broke a rule I apologize, that was not and I repeat not my intent. I have good rep. on other forums and hope you will see that I am good addition to this forum.

All software has that in their EULA Agreement. You deal direct with the main developer of the software. He has a thread on the forum ( i will refrain from mentioning it as you can find it easily) to help with any problems. He is very good as I have actually talked to him in person. If you have a problem which usually is minor you work directly with him. I have had a lot of products for my computer over the years and software carries NO Warranties, you can't even return it. I could mention a few but I think that would break a rule. Have you tried it? This was my personal opinion and no more. You are quite right in what you have quoted. I do not disagree. key word unregistered. Just a public service announcement to let the community know there is support. If you want to get me off this form with this type of tactic go right ahead. I have a good rep where it counts. Soon as I saw your quote, I knew what you were trying to do so go ahead, shows what this forum is all about. If you want me to go just say so and I will unsubscribe, you don't have to try and sucker me into saying something that breaks a rule. Don't bother I will unsubscribe myself because I have never seen such a peaty forum since I have been simming and that has been a long time. Enjoy .
