Hello all,

 

It all started with Deuces "photorealist desert terrain". I've installed it and said to myself : "hmmm.. this stuff is awesome!!!".

Then I started to wonder that it would be cool to replay the stock campaign with these awesome terrain tiles, so I did it!!!

Then I wondered that lots of "friendly" arab states also had french made aircraft.

I was particularly thinking of the Ouragan, Mystère and Mirage series, that made history in Israel and elsewhere.

I told myself that it would be awesome to have these planes in here as well.

I started by adding Pasko and C5s MD450 Ouragan, Ajunadair's Mystère and the Mirage factory's Mirage IIIC (thank you guys for such awesome models and skins).

I've also noted that the stock campaigns are limited to a maximum of 30 missions.

I have changed this to 1000. So now you can delight in an endless war!!! :D

Offcourse, US, french, British and Soviet aircraft had to upgrade as time passed.

The logical successor for the Mirage IIIC is BPAO's Mirage F-1EQ, that I took from the Iran - Iraq campaign.

The stock US aircraft will be upgraded to the following models :

- Different versions of the A-4;

- Armourdave's A-7Bs and Es;

- Skoshi Team's F-5A;

- Mirage Factory's F-14A MP pack;

- The F-15A by Paco, Hackworth, Bunyap, USAFMTL and column5;

- Team Viper's F-16A block10;

The Royal Dhimari attack/bomber squadrons will eventually receive the latest Jaguar from the Mirage factory.

As for soviet made aircraft, you will find OKB Mig's MiG-23, and the MiG-25 by Tomcat74, wpnssgt, Sundowner & column5.

I have added wpnssgt's latest weapon pack and Pakso's latest SAM pack.

You will have the ride of your life.

You will have two campaigns : a Burning Sands II and Burning Sands 70s.

In the first, you will fly the early 50 jets.

In the second, you will start in the late sixties and make your way to the 80s.

It's really lots of fun.

Finnaly, I have made a few MP tests and so far, no CTDs or other bad surprises.

It would be good however if you guys can test this out and give me some feedback on it.
