Beer Posted April 4, 2003 Posted April 4, 2003 Jeff, I being a connseaur of the latest and greatest (at least in a wish I had it sense), I often like to ponder the "what if" I went with this component over another... I was wondering if in the hardware section, you could make a "Board" for OClocking, where the idea would be The subject Line would be the motherboard model say for example: Subj: ASUS A7V8X I am running a AMD 2.4 (2000) with 512 Megs 3200 Samsung DDR with a Abit GF4 4600ti I am overclocked @ 2100 yada yada with screenshots of my 3D Mark 2003 is xxxxx Anyone with that board would find it with the subject line and add there specs/benchmark to it or someone looking to buy that board could look and somewhat predict improvements from their old system; this would greatly assist in those purchasing decisions ;) and to see what others are able to do overclocking wise. I know we could hit overclocking forums...but why when we could do the same thing here, with guys playing the same games we are... Just a thought. Cheers Beer Quote
+MadJeff Posted April 4, 2003 Posted April 4, 2003 That my friend, is an excellent idea. Being an avid OC'er myself, I could really go for something like that. I'll have it setup today! :D Update Not one, but two new forums are in place, one for general overclocking/Performance Tweaking, and one for Case Modding. Thanks for the great idea Beer! Quote
