Great first article!

How well does the solid ink hold up to UV/sunlight?

Thanks Jeff!

Well, the answer to that is a bit complex. The ink has a waxy feel to it. Almost as if the paper had the image ironed on it, like those old T-Shirts from the 80's. It looks fantastic, but durability is an issue. Under most circumstances, you would be ok. No degradation whatsoever. However, under high heat conditions, say the dashboard of a car sitting in the hot sun for a few hours, you are gonna see some melted ink blobs on your paper. As for fading under UV light... Not really. The ink will melt from heat before you see fading happen. Heat is the major problem, otherwise, it's a pretty durable print medium.
