I believe the cockpit is required to make the albies flyable. Am I doing something stupid or misunderstanding what to do ? Please help. Thanks ..... Quote

He did release a stellar DH2 but hasn't been seen here since. His profile says he was last seen in December. Hopefully he's working on another of his stellar creations and too busy to come around!
