gillg Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Hi all, long time player of IL2, FB, PF, and was wondering if anybody knows if you can actually save those missions that you have no option but refly them. You know when you just finished a mission by bailing out after you shot down 4 fighters and when you quit the mission, there is no apply button, just a refly button. How annoying!!! I just spent 40 minutes accumulating those kills, now there gone. Some of my other pilots were KIA and now, miraculously, there back!! What the......???? Any help here?
+Dagger Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 are you talking campain?if so I believe you must complete the mission or bail out and be saved by your forces for it to be saved.

And how do you know if you have been rescued by friendlies? Do you have to fast forward time and wait in game until a certain time frame has passed or is there any other indication that this has happened?
+Dagger Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 it'll come up as a message on screen.."you've been rescued or captured or killed"
gillg Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 it'll come up as a message on screen.."you've been rescued or captured or killed" OK, so once that is done and you have quit the mission, and in the debrief screen, it comes up with refly only, there is only the option to refly. I just wanted to know for that litle bit of extra realism. I guess the only thing you can do is manually modify the squadron.dat's and war diary.ini's. Cheers dagger.
+Dagger Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 np..I got shot down while flying a mission and got a message that I had been rescued by friendly forces.
