Aside from Enhanced WOV terrain, and Enhanced WOV terrain upgrade from Deuces that I got from here http://www.sfmods.com/terrain.html

Are there any other terrain mod that would improve the eye-candy? I’m looking for improvements to Vietnam to enhance my gaming experience, such as more trees, better terrain, better airbase, buildings….etc. I hope you guys can give me some links to these mods (if they exist)

Also, would buying yankee air pirate addon improve the terrain?

Realistic airfield lights mods here:

In the Object mod downlaod section there is a bunch of static aircraft from PNT that you can use to populate the airstrips.

There is also a concrete runway mod that makes the runways far more realsitc in apperance. I'm not sure where that is though.

Yankee Air uses the same terrain mods (dueces) but they have added all kinds of static aircraft, objects, and moving vehicles at the airbases, and things really have life now. Additionally the missions are intense and really kick ass. I highly recommend YAP, yes, it payware, but it's cheap and worth every penny. Here's a screenie of a YAP airbase:

Thanks for all your input, if anyone can help me find this concrete runway I'll really appreciate it. I've searched int he static object section but it doesn't seem like its there unless its merged with another mod.

Also, i keep hearing about this DRV terrain, what does it do? Will it be better that Enhanced WOV terrain from Deuce?

For the runway mod go to CA's DL section, 3rdWire Series>Maps/Terrain Mods>page 2, the one you want is

' SF/WoV Runway Upgrade' by Polak. The DRV Terrain(Vietnam) was made by Gepard for 'Nam campaigns and

missions in Strike Fighters Project 1. The current version is DRVv1.51, it can be found in the Terrains section

last page. It's very good and could be added to a WoV install as an alternate 'Nam terrain.

As for Yankee Air Pirates, just get it, you will be getting far more than your paying for. :good::good:

cool so i install the DRVv1.51 on top of Enhanced WOV terrain by Deuce

Deuce's Enhanced WOV terrain is only for the stock WOV terrain, so far as I know. The DRV terrain is a

separate terrain add-on for SFP-1 and SFP Gold.
